Annie Beles was born in Oakland, California on January 25, 1972.  She attended Exeter College in England.  She graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a degree in Literature in 1994.  Ms. Beles graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1997.

She began working at her dad's law office in high school and continued to work there throughout college and law school.  Ms. Beles values attention to detail in the representation of clients- having graduated from secretary to law clerk to attorney.

Annie Beles is know in the legal communities for her positive attitude and phenomenal memory.  She has been active in the Earl Warren Inns of Court- having written and performed legal educational programs.

She is a true believer in the defense of people charged with crimes. She is an active members of California Attorneys for Criminal Justice and National Association of  Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Ms. Beles has tried numerous murder, sex, and potential life imprisonment cases. She has been extraordinarily successful. In high profile cases she works with her father Robert J. Beles to form a dynamic father - daughter defense team that aggressively covers the total spectrum of criminal defense.

Annie is a certified specialist in criminal law, certified by the Board of Legal Specialization of the California State Bar. This certification means she has tried many serious felony cases, has taken and passed a specialist exam and has been thoroughly reviewed by numerous members of the local bench and bar who hold her in high regard. She is rightfully proud of this specialist certification, as is her father, Robert J. Beles, who has been a certified specialist in criminal law since 1975.
