Demetrius Costy was born in the East Bay in 1972.  He was raised in Oakland and graduated from Bishop O'Dowd High School in 1990.  Four years later, he graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a degree in Political Science.  After college, Demetrius managed a group home for severely disturbed adolescent males in Oakland.

In 1999, Demetrius graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law.  He went to law school with the express intent of becoming an exceptional criminal defense attorney.  He has fulfilled this goal at the Law Offices of Robert J. Beles.  Mr. Costy is known at the office as Mr. Dismissal because of his uncanny ability to exploit the weaknesses in the government's case.  These results are only possible because of Demetrius' extraordinary attention to detail and his cool imposing court room presence.
