Jerry Lipkin was born in Buffalo, New York on January 28, 1942. He attended Cornell University. Mr. Lipkin graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Government in 1963. He attended the University of California, Hastings College of Law in San Francisco and graduated in 1966. Mr. Lipkin served in the Vietnam War in the United States Army from 1967 to 1968, being honorably discharged as a captain and being awarded the Bronze Star. He began his legal practice as an assistant Alameda County Public Defender from 1969 to 1972. He then began a private criminal law practice. Mr. Lipkin has been with the Law Offices of Robert J. Beles for over 20 years. Mr. Lipkin has devoted his legal career exclusively to his clients and the practice of criminal law. He has tried over 50 jury trials but negotiated over 50 times that number to the satisfaction of his clients and their families. Jerry will always get you the best plea bargain if that is the only way out of a tough situation. Bail reductions and alternatives to jail are his specialty. Jerry's belief is all about keeping his clients out of jail.
